Who this is for

This is a hub for stories to be read and shared. This is a place where word of mouth begins and community forms, and both have to start somewhere.

Here they start with me.

You can approach me with the manuscript you keep in your drawer, and perhaps I’ll become one of its first readers. I might be one of the early readers who helps you reach that magical round number on Goodreads. Or perhaps I’ll simply be one more reader who discovers a book you’ve already sent out into the world.

As a single person, I probably won’t make you rich and famous. But I might be the first mouth to whisper of your story, and perhaps, in time, that whisper will become one note among many before finding its way back to you as an echo. Support makes many things possible, and I hope that, in time, a community will grow where we help carry one another’s stories a little further.

This space is for independently self-published work. I don’t accept invitations for books published by traditional or independent presses. I want to support writers who have chosen to bring their work into the world independently and who face the ups and downs that come with doing so. Self-published books often face a visibility problem, and I want this part of my website to help give those books and their authors a little more reach.

I can’t promise I’ll be able to accept every invitation. As a single reader, I have my own time limitations and preferences, and while I try to stay as open as possible, I can’t give every book the attention it deserves.
